Creative Psychotherapy and supervision
Jonas Torrance
Jonas has been working with children and young people for more than 35 years. He approaches each client with curiosity, creativity and compassion
Jonas began his career in 1991, working at the first autism base established within a mainstream school — a pioneering project led by Sheila Coates
He holds an MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy and has spent the past 25 years working as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and behaviour consultant. His approach involves imaginative play, physical activity and/or drawing, alongside conversation — so that clients can express themselves in whatever way works best.
Jonas is also the author of 'Therapeutic Adventures with Autistic Children' (Hachette) and a contributing author to The International Handbook of Play Therapy.
